Saving Israel's sea turtles

North of Tel Aviv, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, there is a unique hospital and rehab center.

Its patients are treated for swallowing hooks or for injuries sustained when caught in a fishing net.

This is the Israel Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center.

Its purpose is not only to help sea turtles survive and release them back to sea, but also to raise awareness, educate the public and involve them in their care.

Bereaved Soon to Be Bride: Mourners Instead of Celebrations

Sarah-Tehiya Litman, 21, whose father and brother were murdered by terrorists on Friday, and who was supposed to get married to Ariel Bigel on Tuesday, has announced that the wedding will only be postponed by nine days – and that the entire nation of Israel is invited. The wedding will be held in Jerusalem.
The invitation-announcement is preceded by the phrase – "Do not rejoice over me, my enemy, for I have fallen but I have gotten up" (Michah 7:8).

Jews, Circassians, Muslim and Christian Arabs all play together at the Maccabi Haifa-Nahalal youth football academy. 

In the heart of the Jezreel Valley in the Galilee, on the football fields of Nahalal, a very special youth football team flourishes. This unique soccer squad consists of 13 year-old players from different Israeli backgrounds and cultures. These diverse athletes hone their skills on the grounds of Israel's oldest communal farming village, Moshav Nahalal, which was founded in 1921.

True coexistence is achieved every day through the passion for "the beautiful game" demonstrated by these young men and their families
